Westview boys trash West Noble

Westview ran its NECC boys basketball record to 8-1 last Thursday night in Emma with a 68-45 thrashing of West Noble.

Elijah Hales scored 12 of his 14 points in the first half, helping stake the Warriors to a 34-15 lead at the intermission. Hales also dished out six assists.

Josh Hostetler came off the bench to lead Westview (18-1 overall) in scoring with 18 points. Charlie Yoder netted 14 markers to go with his team-high nine rebounds and six assists.

John Gross sank 14 points and Cade Barhydt 12 to pace the Chargers, who dipped to 3-5 in the NECC with the loss.
