Prairie Heights girls nip Heritage

Shelby Fish tossed in 20 points and Alexis German sank 18 in leading Prairie Heights to a 50-49 varsity girls basketball victory at Heritage Tuesday evening.

Both Fish and German canned eight field goals, including two from beyond the three-point arc, for the Lady Panthers, who used a 22-8 spurt in the third quarter to spin a 28-24 halftime deficit into a 46-36 lead. Fish also grabbed a team-high nine rebounds and German made three steals.

Lydia Johnston netted five points, Maddie Newby four, Kaitlyn Rumsey two and Liz German one for the 1-1 Lady Panthers. Johnston also dished out three assists.

Bree Dossen tossed in 20 points and snagged six rebounds to spearhead the Heritage attack. Nevaeh Feasby pitched in 13 points and three steals. Taylor Zent collected eight points and nine rebounds.
