November site plans approved by county

The LaGrange County Plan Commission met November 27, approving several site plans.

Hubbard Feed on N. Van Buren St. in Shipshewana was approved for a 1,405 sq. ft. receiving building, pending a driveway permit from the state.

B&T Pallet at 9455W 700S was approved for a 9,600 sq. ft. pallet building.

Pine’s RV Refrigeration at 5930W 200N was approved for a 768 sq. ft. building addition for an existing refrigeration business.

Sow-N-Grow Greenhouse at 0655S 300W was approved for a 1,584 sq. ft. building for a retail greenhouse business, pending driveway approval from the county highway department.

Morning Star Leather at 2435N SR 9 was approved for a 1,200 sq. ft. building for the manufacturing of leather products.

Lavern and Irene Miller of 3875S 900W were approved for a 7,956 sq. ft. building and 10,250 sq. ft. building to add to an existing hog operation, with a total of 1,394 sows.

Schrock Harness at 8375W 300S was approved for a 3,740 sq. ft. addition to an existing harness shop. 

Two applications were postponed:

Jess Performance, LLC, east of CR 1000W on the south side of US 20, who had applied for a 10,000 sq. ft. building for diesel truck repair and performance.

Topeka Pizza at 214 S. Babcock St. in Topeka, who had applied for a 5,958 sq. ft. building for a restaurant.
