Methamphetamine found after traffic stop

Two people were arrested after a traffic stop on November 24.

    According to the report from the LaGrange County Sheriff’s Department, an officer made a traffic stop on SR 9 north of CR 300N. Investigation revealed that the driver, Sahara Woods, 23, of Davenport, Iowa, was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia. The front seat passenger, Robert Mitchell, 22, also of Davenport, Iowa, was in possession of methamphetamine.

    Woods was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, and maintaining a common nuisance. Mitchell was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance. Both were taken to the LaGrange County Jail.
