911 hangups lead to drug arrests

On December 21 at approximately 9 p.m., officers with the LaGrange Police Department were dispatched to the 300 E. block of Steuben Street in LaGrange for multiple 911 hangups. During investigation, officers located drug paraphernalia in plain view. Officers then filed for a search warrant on the residence.

During execution of the search warrant, officers located drug paraphernalia, a hypodermic needle, and multiple plastic baggies containing a white powdery substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine.

Four people at the residence were arrested as a result of the investigation.

Landi P. Hammond of LaGrange was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 Felony, Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony, and Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, a Level 6 Felony.

Michael R. Hoff of Howe was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance, a Class B Misdemeanor.

Bonnie C. Hoff of Howe was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance, a Class B Misdemeanor.

Valerie K. Mettler of LaGrange was arrested for Visiting a Common Nuisance, a Class B Misdemeanor.
